Instant messaging giant, WhatsApp, has discovered a vulnerability in their messaging app that could allow attackers to install spyware on your mobile device, without you even knowing.
The vulnerability could allow attackers to simply call your phone without you even answering and install malware and then spy on all your conversions.
Financial Times recently explained in an article that an Israeli company developed a malicious code.
WhatsApp is deep in their investigations and cannot estimate how many users were targeted as stated in the article.
A patch to fix the vulnerability has been released by WhatsApp. You should make sure your software is up-to-date and update your WhatsApp immediately.
