So, this is pretty cool. Because of the release of The Windows Subsystem for Linux which lets developers run Linux environments — including most command-line tools, utilities, and applications — directly on Windows, unmodified, without the overhead of a virtual machine, the business system has been easier.
This is pretty significant because running KALI on a Windows machine always required a virtual machine or a LIVE USB; either way, it was a mission. With this new feature of Windows Subsystem, the Kali box is super easy to run. In fact, you can download it from the store and I will run through how quick this is to install.
Installation instructions
Once installed, there are several very cool out of the box features that you might want to try right away. Like setting up the shell as an elite hacker extraordinaire but adding the green text, obviously.
Using little resources
While setting up, I noticed just how little resources my KALI machine was using which was awesome!
I did have a warning after apt-get
W: http: aptMethod::Configuration: could not load seccomp policy: Invalid argument
