May has seen the release of new exciting features in Office 365

For a start you now have Real-time chat integration with Skype for Business and Office 365 Word, Excel, One Note and PowerPoint. You are able to collaborate with co-workers whilst working on documentation, Skype for Business (sfb) is now fully integrated in to office online.

If you have already been using SharePoint and the co-authoring functionality you will be pleased to know it just got a whole lot easier, you are able to chat in real-time with the co-editors and share the document with others for more commentary and collaboration.

Next up is Outlook, have you ever thought: I wonder if I could read my emails from the flick of my wrist? Well now you can, Microsoft have introduced Outlook to wearable devices. Not only will your watch give you a live feed of your incoming emails but will also alert you to upcoming events in your calendar, so no excuse to be late now…

SharePoint and One Drive enhancements, Microsoft have introduced a seamless integration between One Drive and iOS. You will be able to share, view and edit documents from your iPhone or iPad from SharePoint, Office 365 groups and One Drive. This is aligned with the vision of a cloud first, mobile first roadmap.

The SharePoint Mobile app for iPhone will be released next month (June 2016) and later in the year for Windows and Android, and it is going to be awesome! Watch this space.
