10000 SharePoint Hours

They say it takes 10000 hours to become an expert in a specific field, ten thousand hours of practice, repetitive movement, experience and competition all leads to becoming an expert. There are a lot of studies out there that back up this theory like Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, and I for one totally agree. I became a computer expert at a young age, simply by building, installing, configuring and breaking PC’s every single waking moment of each day from about the age of 7. At 13 I knew more than our high school IT teacher, which is why I believe I was kicked out of the classroom on a number of occasions, however I digress.

Recently our A-Team team who provide a managed SharePoint, Office 365 and Azure support service surpassed 10 000 hours in client calls. This is a huge milestone for GTconsult and its managed service offerings, it means we really know what we are doing and have the experts around the world who make up Umlindi to show for it.

So what happens now when the experts have done 10 000 hours I wonder? Enter the new age of the Cloud Samurai.
